The school year started with an extraordinary commitment from Jamaica Broilers and Best Dressed Chicken! They have included Christel House in their Standing Order Programme. Once a month, Jamaica Broilers makes a special delivery of whole chickens to canteen lead Ms. Lawman, who works with her team to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for our students.
You can’t learn when you’re hungry. Our nutrition program provides 80% of our students’ daily nutritional needs and means family members at home have more to eat. Nutrition is one of our largest expenses, and chicken represents our biggest cost.
