Through the National Education Trust (NET), the Government of Jamaica has fulfilled its pledge of JMD $291,570,000, covering 50% of the construction cost for the new Senior School at Christel House Jamaica. The investment signals strong government confidence in the Christel House model and its long-term impact on education in Jamaica.
NET, a government agency and registered charitable organisation, mobilises funding and partnerships from the Jamaican diaspora and other local and international stakeholders to support improvements across the education sector.
Christel House Jamaica welcomed its first Senior School students in August 2025, expanding the organisation’s ability to serve students beyond the primary level. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony in October, celebrated the opening of the facility and marked an important step in increasing access to quality secondary education for students and families.
