At Christel House Jamaica, we’re witnessing firsthand the transformative power of our educational model. Early results are already showcasing significant strides in our students’ academic achievements and personal growth. These statistics are more than numbers—they represent real lives being changed and potential being realised.
Our success is not isolated. Drawing inspiration from our sister schools in India, Mexico, South Africa, and the United States, we are building on a proven model that, for over two decades, has empowered thousands of students.

Zakeer was raised in a crowded, very small one room house he shared with his mother, father, grandmother, and older brother. While his father worked hard to provide, income was irregular. During second grade, Zakeer was forced to drop out of school as his family could not afford the fees. “Then Christel House happened.” The Christel House College & Careers program guided Zakeer from a very young age. Zakeer earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is now a project manager, and has moved his family into a spacious new home.
Ivan grew up in a little room on the roof of the building where his mother worked as a janitor. Today this Christel House Mexico alum is a successful dentist, and a 12th grade science teacher at his alma mater. He recalls his first class when he was a student at Christel House – amazed to be sitting in front of a computer. “It was a dream come true!” Returning as an instructor at Christel House, Ivan remembers the positive impact of his teachers.
