    BUILT ON A SOLID FOUNDATION

Opened in August 2020, Christel House Jamaica has been committed to transforming lives by providing no-fee scholarships to students from some of St. Catherine’s most underserved communities. Our school brings the time-tested Christel House model to Jamaica, offering not only academic excellence but also a pathway to a more equitable future.

We are located 40 minutes outside of Kingston on 12 acres of land generously provided by the Government of Jamaica through a public-private partnership.

Christel House International has constructed the Junior School at its own expense, and High School construction is now underway, preparing to welcome our first cohort of Grade 7 students in August 2025.

Currently serving 410 students, we plan to grow organically by admitting 60 Kindergarten students each year until we reach full capacity of 840 students from Kindergarten through Grade 13 by 2031. Our graduates will also benefit from up to five years of college and career counseling after graduation.

“When we started, we had to go from door to door to recruit students, and many parents were sceptical. A scholarship including a first-class education, transportation, breakfast, lunch and a snack, books and supplies, and health care sounded too good to be true. We had to build relationships and establish trust. Today, our reputation is growing, and our early outcomes are exciting. Parents are referring us to others in their community because they are seeing the positive impact in their children.”

    Head of Social Services

    OUR JOURNEY

    SOON COME

    GROWING
    OUR IMPACT

We are excited to announce the next phase of our journey as we prepare to welcome students into our upcoming High School. While we will continue our growth until we reach full capacity in 2031, we recognize that our educational model has the potential to grow in many ways.

At Christel House Jamaica, we are seeking to expand our impact by:

    • Enhancing our academic programs to meet or surpass national standards
    • Embedding a strong STEAM program throughout the school

    PARTNERSHIPS
    FOR GROWTH

We must secure financial support from Jamaicans both locally and abroad to help us fund our program and service costs.

For more information on how you can contribute or get involved, please contact: Kameka Clarke, Fundraising & Marketing Manager at (658) 206 0357 or email: [email protected].
