Christel House Jamaica celebrates milestone

In October, 2025, Christel House Jamaica celebrated two major milestones with a high-profile event on its campus: the school’s fifth anniversary and the ribbon cutting of its new, two-story, STEM-focused high school.

Distinguished guests attending the event included Senator Dr. The Hon. Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information; Dr. Kasan Troupe, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education; and Senator Marlon Morgan, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education. CHI’s own CEO David Harris, CH Jamaica CEO Taneshia Stoney Dryden, and Principal Jason Scott joined the guests to honor the commitment and service of CHJ’s co-founder and former CEO, Sally Porteous, by dedicating the new high school building to her.
