Discover inspiring journeys and achievements of our students, alumni, and school communities.

What began as a single step has now come full circle. Twenty-five Christel House Jamaica parents have officially completed and received their Customer Service Level I & II certification, marking a significant milestone in their personal and professional journeys.
Delivered in partnership with HEART Trust NSTA, the program equipped parents with practical, marketable skills designed to strengthen confidence, improve communication, and enhance job readiness in today’s workforce. Over the eight weeks, participants committed fully to the process—and the results spoke for themselves. Feedback from parents reflected renewed self-belief, motivation, and a readiness to pursue new opportunities.
One parent, Kim Nixon, shared her experience participating in the program:
“For me the experience was fun, learning for me was easy and it was challenging in terms of the exam but we came out victorious, for me now it makes me a more bolder person, I wasn’t quite outspoken…and for that I am grateful.”
This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of Mr. Stefan Roper (HEART Trust NSTA) and Mr. Brian Hutchinson of our Social Services Department, who supported the program every step of the way.
At Christel House Jamaica, we know that when parents are empowered, families—and entire communities—are strengthened. This graduation is more than a certificate; it is a testament to resilience, growth, and the power of opportunity.
We are proud of our parents and excited for what lies ahead.
