Discover inspiring journeys and achievements of our students, alumni, and school communities.
The start to the school year brings with it annual medical and dental check-ups for new and returning students. During August orientation, all students collected new uniforms and got a medical check-up.
In September, Dr. Jones and her team were on-site, delivering routine check-ups and cleanings to 147 students. They also performed critical extractions and fillings and applied preventative sealants where needed.
Day 3 was extra special — American Friends of Jamaica made a special visit with the Colgate mobile bus as part of their Bright Smiles Bright Futures initiative, ensuring every student left with their own toothbrush, toothpaste and a brushing chart to maintain their Bright Smiles.
A big thank you to Drs. Morrell, Brown, Steele, James, Walker and Munair and Assistants Ralston, Douglas, Charlton and Medwinter-Walker. We are also thankful for Dental Hygienists Andrena Harris from St. Catherine Oral Health Services and Chadene Bertram Salmon who did a great job orienting each class to the basics of looking after their teeth.
It's a Standing Order!
