Twenty-five students in our 4H Club were involved in planting pak choi seeds in March 2023… with a lot of care and attention, they reaped the rewards of all their hard work. In May, the club presented a portion of their harvest to canteen lead, Ms. Lawman, who featured it on the breakfast menu, and made a vegetable soup. They sold the balance, along with cucumbers at Denbigh Agricultural Fair.
Our garden was started with the support of the Seprod Foundation and Budding Farmers Jamaica.
