Christel House Jamaica has been awarded funding from the Culture, Health, Arts, Sports and Education (CHASE) Fund, an investment that will directly strengthen learning environments for our students and educators.
The CHASE Fund Board has approved JMD 78,032,390 to support critical campus improvements at Christel House Jamaica as the student population continues to grow and mature. This funding allows for the establishment of a dedicated, standalone Early Childhood facility, ensuring that our youngest learners have safe, age-appropriate environment as the wider campus expands grade by grade through high school.
This includes:
– Construction of a three-classroom Early Childhood facility with a kitchenette, office, sickbay, bathrooms, and staffroom
– Furniture and equipment for students and staff, along with play areas
– Installation of a perimeter fence to support campus safety
Established in 2002, the CHASE Fund has supported initiatives across culture, health, arts, sports, and education, with continued emphasis on early childhood education and community development.
We extend our sincere thanks to W. Billy Heaven, OD, JP, Chief Executive Officer, and the entire CHASE Fund team for their support and partnership. These improvements will help ensure that our learning environments remain safe, appropriate, and responsive to the needs of our students at every stage of their development.
